Description
We are actively recruiting a Product Manager, Care Management, for the Product team. This role will be focused on collaborating with clinical care teams, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to support the RenalIQ Care roadmap. We are looking for a candidate who has strong experience as a product manager and has proven success in building new features from ideation to implementation. This person must have the ability to communicate with clinical and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical requirements and effective features.
This position is a remote position with the option to work out of our headquarters office in Vienna, Virginia and will report to the Director of Product.
Responsibilities:
Drive product vision, plan short term and long-term roadmap, supported by qualitative and quantitative data linked to outcomes and metrics
Manage a metrics driven roadmap to organize strategy into deliverables
Work with program development, operations, and clinical care teams to build alignment on product roadmap
Serve as product owner in an agile development process, working with end users, UI/UX designers, and software engineers
Assess user needs, perform market research, and gather business needs and suggest new features
Break down the product roadmap into epics, features, and user stories / acceptance criteria
Ability to prioritize backlog by making trade-off decisions, balancing user value, time to market, and business goals
Responsible for identifying and managing dependencies and thinking about all aspects of the product, from defining business problems to implementation
Define metrics for product success and track performance (e.g., adoption metrics, user satisfaction, etc.)
Utilize workflow and data tools to represent data and processes, such as business process modeling, process flow modeling
Contributes to a strong product culture of continuous development and rapid iteration
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum 4-5 years of professional experience in product management
Understanding of enterprise level products
Ability to document and analyze complex business requirements and processes
Experience with JIRA or similar tools
Solid technical background including proficiency with SQL
Exceptional communication skills to convey business requirements
Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues and external parties
Acute attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
Preferred:
Self-starter who will take initiative and be proactive when there are multiple priorities
Ability to handle ambiguity and desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
Strategic solution-seeker who sees opportunities when others see barriers
Experience working with vulnerable patient populations (ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease), pediatrics, geriatrics, minorities, low income, uninsured, etc.)
