Amergis Research Associate - NEMT Program in Augusta, Maine

Overview: The NET (Non-Emergency Transportation Research Associate, will serve as point of contact for the NEMT program for internal stakeholders via multiple channels, emails, Footprints database, phone, fax, internet).

Pay Rate : $25.50/ hour, 40 hours/week

13 paid holidays per year

Up to 10 days of accrued PTO, based on assignment duration

Please note that this pay range represents a good faith estimate of the compensation that will be offered for this position. The actual pay offered to a successful candidate will take into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to location, qualifications, and additional preferred experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Certifications :

  • A three (3) year year combination of education, training and/or experience providing knowledge of the principles of research, planning, and program coordination.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in health, public policy, public administration, or related field is preferred, but not required

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is required.

Duties and Deliverables:

  • Act as a point of contact for NEMT Program for external stakeholders (MaineCare members, medical providers, etc.) via multiple channels (emails, phone, fax, and internet)

  • Log NET Program complaints and concerns from members and providers and work to resolution with transportation brokers.

  • Develop and submit monthly information for transportation broker invoicing.

  • Review transportation reports and encounter data to ensure compliance with policy and contracts.

  • Listen to recorded broker calls to ensure appropriate service is being delivered to members.

  • Answer MaineCare transportation policy questions from brokers

  • Participate and sometimes lead conference calls with brokers and other stakeholders.

  • Attend and participate in stakeholder meetings as assigned.

  • Generate periodic and ad-hoc reports on project status for management.

  • Maintain paper and electronic files of member issues and concerns.

  • Other duties as requested and assigned by management

    Schedule : Routine business hours 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday 40 hrs/week. This is a Remote eligible position.
