Overview of Job Function:
The Sales Operations Sr. Manager is responsible for overseeing and enhancing our sales operations, processes, and systems to drive revenue growth and operational excellence in the Americas for Web and Mobile & Self-Service use cases, and Americas renewals.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Sales Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze sales data, including pipeline, revenue, and customer trends, to identify insights and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate sales performance, key metrics, and actionable recommendations to sales leadership.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and data modeling to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
Sales Forecasting and Planning:
Assist in sales forecasting activities, leveraging historical data, market trends, and sales pipeline analysis.
Collaborate with sales managers to validate and refine sales forecasts and targets.
Track and report on forecast accuracy and provide insights for forecast improvement.
CRM Management and Data Integrity:
Administer and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
Conduct data audits and resolve inconsistencies or data quality issues.
Provide training and support to the sales team on CRM usage, data entry, and best practices.
Sales Process Optimization:
Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in sales processes and workflows.
Collaborate with sales operations and cross-functional teams to streamline and optimize sales processes.
Propose and implement process improvements to enhance sales productivity and efficiency.
Sales Enablement and Training:
Support the development and maintenance of sales training materials and resources.
Assist in the onboarding and training of new sales team members on sales processes, tools, and systems.
Collaborate with sales enablement teams to ensure sales collateral and resources align with sales needs.
Sales Analytics Tools and Technology:
Utilize and maintain sales analytics tools and technology platforms to extract meaningful insights and automate reporting.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in sales analytics tools and technology.
Make recommendations for the adoption and implementation of new tools and technologies.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 10+ years overall functional experience working in Sales and/or Sales operations roles
Experience working with concepts, practices, and procedures in Sales Operations and understanding of general sales processes, terminology and KPIs
Excellent analytical and business intelligence skills, strong with numbers
Strong presentation skills, ability to convey key messages through visualization and charts
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with multiple levels within the organization
Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations
Preferred Requirements:
Expertise in Salesforce/CRMs, PowerBI, Advanced Excel
Background in SaaS / Cloud solutions preferred
Proven track record of executing high intensity projects
Software industry experience
