Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Production: Develop, shoot, and edit compelling video content that showcases student life, faculty expertise, and the innovative programs at CU Skaggs School of Pharmacy.

  • Photography: Capture high-quality images for use across social media, websites, and print materials, highlighting campus events, student activities, and key milestones.

  • Graphic Design: Create visually engaging graphics, infographics, and promotional materials that align with the school's brand and resonate with our target audience.

  • Copywriting: Write clear, persuasive, and compelling copy for various platforms, including social media posts, website content, email campaigns, and brochures.

  • Social Media Management: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute a content calendar that aligns with our strategic goals, posting content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and YouTube.

  • Platform Exploration: Stay ahead of digital trends by exploring and implementing new content formats and platforms, such as podcasts, vlogs, and interactive media, to broaden our reach and engage with a wider audience.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze content performance, using insights to optimize future campaigns and ensure that our content strategy is effective in driving engagement and enrollment.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with faculty, students, and alumni to generate authentic and relatable content that tells the story of CU Skaggs School of Pharmacy.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • One (1) year of professional experience in content creation, including videography, photography, graphic design, and copywriting.

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or similar design and video editing software.

  • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in higher education marketing.

  • Experience with or knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies.

  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, social media insights, and content management systems (CMS).

  • Experience with new media formats and platforms, such as podcasts and vlogs, is highly desirable.
