Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Function as Medical Assistants (MA) at BDC Pediatric clinic by doing height, weight, blood pressure and device downloads.
Phlebotomy/Help blood draws as needed
Give flu shots per provider's order
Administer depression screen as needed
Order supplies as needed
Entering lab results into EPIC
Practicing good HIPAA compliance
Ensured exam rooms are fully stocked in accordance to physician needs
Inventory log of medical supplies
Other duties as assigned

One (1) year of experience in an medical setting as a Medical Assistant
Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with medical professionals is desirable.
Experience using Electronic Medical Record systems and medical terminology
Spanish fluency
