Summary:

Responsible for verifying/processing confidential employee data into the computerized human resources information system. This includes ensuring that the correct paperwork for hiring employees, terminating employees, salary adjustments, personal information, etc. is received and the data accurately entered into the computerized system. Works closely with the payroll and benefits administration departments to coordinate HR data as needed for processing. Self-motivated information seeker with a desire to deliver superb customer service in every interaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review source documents for accuracy, proper approvals, and relevance of input and output data by visual examination and application of the company’s human resources policies and practices. If any employee data is missing or incomplete, resolve discrepancy with the appropriate Human Resources Representative from corporate or field offices.

  • Accurately enter data from confidential employee documents into the computerized human resources information system.

  • Validate the data entered is accurate in Oracle HRMS system and ADP payroll system.

  • Answer inquiries from Human Resources, Corporate Compensation and other ADT personnel.

  • Perform leave calculations based on company policy and coordinate payment with the payroll department

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school degree or equivalent, Associates or Bachelors Degree desired.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of data processing experience, preferably with a computerized human resources information system.

  • 1-2 years of Microsoft Excel experience.

Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong data entry experience.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Proven ability to partner with team members spanning a variety of cultures, personalities and assorted levels of management.

  • Intermediate expertise in the use of Microsoft Office suite.

  • Working knowledge in payroll, human resources and benefit processing preferred.

  • Ability to proofread and validate data.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • Capable of working independently with proper direction provided from management.

Compensation:

The pay range for this role is $16.15 - $21.00 hourly and is based on experience and qualifications.
