Job Title: Mechatronics and Robotics Technician
Job Description:
As a Maintenance Robotics Technician, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. This role presents an opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will also have the chance to mentor junior technicians and help them grow in their roles.
Responsibilities:
Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
Complete preventive maintenance routines with proper documentation
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
Maintain positive working relationships across all facilities
Track and store department inventory
Physically able to move up to 49lbs and stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school or equivalent diploma
1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls
2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading
2+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to troubleshoot basic input and output function of building operations
Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Associates or higher degree from vocational school or college (Mechanical/Electrical field)
2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
2+ of experience working with PLC based controls systems experience w/ robotic operation & maintenance
Shift and Pay:
$33.25/hr MUST BE OPEN TO SHIFTS (Multiple shifts available)
