Job Summary:
Business Services Professional:
Working knowledge of various types of visas for international professors, researchers, postdoctoral fellows, short-term scholars, and volunteers.
Coordinate with the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) in determining various visa options for researchers, medical students and alternate pathway candidates for Radiology.
Coordinate meetings and interviews with department leadership for these candidates.
Work with GME office on onboarding international medical graduates.
Plans and executes projects assigned by the Chairman and the Vice Chairs.
Creates project schedules, follows progress of projects and ensures that the deadlines are met.
Creates reports for management for project progress tracking.
Assist with vendor management, including but not limited to contract negotiating and overseeing project completion with high standard of quality.
Effectively handles sensitive and confidential issues on behalf of the department with timeliness, discretion, and professionalism.
Performs procurement functions including travel card, procurement card, purchase orders and associated budget management (speed type audits/reports, allowable expenditures, etc.) for Office as needed.
Independently determines appropriate account for all allocation of expenses and ensures financial transactions are appropriate and comply with all relevant University regulations and policies.
Schedules and coordinates meetings for internal and external events.
Maintaining office supplies inventory; anticipating needed supplies; placing orders; verifying receipt of supplies for projects as needed.
Assists with tasks related to the planning and organization of special events.
Providing risk management support by monitoring event compliance, University guidelines, ADA considerations, Fire Code, etc.
Promoting events, which includes updating social media platforms, sending out invites, tracking RSVPS, and sending out reminders to list serves.
Business Services Senior Professional:
Manage Radiology social media platforms. Create social media posts and implement analytics to increase department visibility.
Serve as lead for meetings, including scheduling meetings, distributing meeting invitations, supporting the development of agendas, leading discussions, distributing summaries and action items, coordinating attendees, providing onsite meeting support and providing necessary follow-up to all members, and tracking tasks.
Business Services Principal Professional:
Identify and implement standard operating procedures regarding best practices, strategies, and tools in the areas of efficient team collaboration and in marketing communications.
Content expert in international scholar processes, social media platforms, or project and event management.
