Job Summary:

The Genomics Core at the CU Anschutz Medical campus is looking for ONE faculty-level Research Associate with a long-term mindset.

  • Process samples for Spatial-omics and/or Short-Read/Long-Read Sequencing technologies using well-established wet-lab protocols in a timely manner.

  • Provide advisements and guidance to Principal Investigators and their team on suitability and practicality of utilizing Spatial-omics and/or Short-Read/Long-Read Sequencing in their research.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

  • PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related field

  • Experience in one or more of the following techniques:

  • Molecular biology/immunology

  • NGS

  • Short-Read/Long-Read Sequencing and/or Spatial-omics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more biological assay(s) that require strong attention to detail

  • Strong publication record that corroborates wet lab skills

  • Experience in histology

  • Experience in cell biology

  • Experience in molecular biology

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
