Job Overview
This position is responsible for full performance complex work supporting information technology application(s) through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and providing ongoing optimization and support. Duties include providing front line support to end users through analyzing and diagnosing problems and determining a solution. This position may perform lead work over lower-level staff.
Additional Information
Department: Clinical Application Services Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, work hours may vary based on the needs of the department. Occasional weekend/evening coverage during quarterly Epic upgrade, On Call shift equals 1 week less than or equal to 1x/year.
*This is a hybrid position.
Qualifications
EDUCATION - High School or GED EXPERIENCE - Minimum of five (5) years of related experience is required. EQUIVALENCY - An Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience CERTIFICATION(S) - Epic certification in primary application will be required within four months of hire. Team members will be sent to Epic for mandatory training and will be given two attempts to pass certification testing to maintain employment Epic Beacon certification preferred Previous protocol and cyclical review experience preferred Previous oncology pharmacy and nursing experience considered

Analyzes and diagnoses complex system problems, identifies root cause, and then solves the problem or escalates issues to other appropriate IT staff when outside area of responsibility or expertise. Plans, designs, implements, maintains and provides ongoing optimization and support for applications. May be designated as a lead for their team, including scoping and triaging projects for the team.
