Hormel Foods 3rd Shift Quality Control Auditor - CCPC in Aurora, Illinois
The starting pay ranges from $20.00 and up; however, actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. Ability to speak both English and Spanish
Demonstrate work experience in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Initiative to work independently
Responsibilities:
Perform pH, Water Activity, and quality checks on batches in House of Tsang
Perform and review finished product label verification including product change overs
Perform weight control audits on all finished products packaged in Herbox and HTSA
Perform quality audits on all finished products packaged in Herbox and HTSA
Perform metal detector and X-ray checks on finished product
Review product change overs
Review label changes against formulation sheets
Collect retention samples, display samples, and other samples by request
Prepare and perform TPC swabs on lines that have been wet washed the previous day
Review and record TPC swab results
Special Projects
All other duties as directed by Supervisor
