Fox Valley Forge is looking for a *Bilingual Human Resources Assistant* to join our team! The Human Resources Assistant reports to the Human Resources Manager of Cleveland Hardware & Forging Co. The HR Assistant is responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, and acts as primary HR resource to the Fox Valley Forge facility. This position will support a variety of necessary HR tasks and projects. Who are we? Enjoy the many benefits that we have to offer including, but not limited to: Opportunities for career advancement Paid holidays Paid vacation Medical, dental, vision Flexible spending account Health reimbursement arrangement Paid disability Insurance Company provided life insurance 401k with a company match Tuition reimbursement Referral program Employee assistance program Key Duties and Responsibilities: Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR Manager Provides clerical support to the HR department including generating reports, updating census information, updating employee changes in applicable systems, managing the HR inbox, completing employment verifications, etc. Completes monthly, quarterly or annually reporting on KPI\'s for various departments Works with hiring manager on new job requisitions and posts available positions on all job boards and social media platforms Performs identification, selection and interviewing of candidates Extends job offers and sets up pre-employment testing including drug testing, physical and audiogram Executes new hire procedures, including organizing employee orientation, printing new hire paperwork, creating new employee files, and completing the new hire checklist Translates communication and documentation as necessary Assists in updating HR Quarterly communication slides and assists in preparation for Quarterly meetings Supports special projects as directed by the Human Resources team Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
