a Saw Operator
to join the Chief team.
This position
will
o
perate multiple different saws to cut wood products and material to specified dimensions in accordance with required specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform the required procedures of the set up, operation and tending of saws and wood cutting machines.
- Ability to adhere to plant rules, procedures and policies.
- Basic knowledge and the ability to use staple guns, nail guns, power tools, hand tools, measuring devices and other equipment as required by the specific job.
- Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs thoroughout shift.
- Ability to accurately record and report material used.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- Minor assembly skills are required
- Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints required.
