Throughout the 9-week paid Business Management internship, there will be inspiring opportunities that welcome you into the Schwab culture, immerse you into your technical role, and allow you to apply your people skills to drive action. The interactive internship program focuses on a variety of opportunities which feature a business track project, an intern cohort project, learning activities, a dedicated intern leader, networking, and exploring your unique personal strengths!

Schwab’s Business Management interns will work closely with the technology teams and business partners to define and deliver innovative technology solutions across Schwab. You will have opportunities to share technical expertise, grow leadership skills, and help provide creative solutions related to technology implementations and enhancements. Interns will gain exposure to developing a business management strategy, driving enhancements, resolving issues, and streamlining processes. Daily intern tasks may include partnering with leaders to help develop business or product strategy, driving team or project delivery, assessing deliverables for enhancements and/or streamlining processes, building working relationships with team members and partners to deliver a product, leading resolution of issues or obstacles in different stages of the development lifecycle, and developing documentation, data, activity and flow diagrams, and data mappings.

What you have

As an intern, it’s not about what you know, it’s about what you are willing to learn. We’re seeking passionate students with extraordinary potential who are interested in business systems analysis, IT product management, IT program management, project management, risk management, or a scrum master role who have the courage to ask “why”.

Required Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program

• Have enough credit hours to put you at a junior level status at a 4-year college or university

• Have not already completed your bachelor's degree

• Able and willing to relocate at your own expense if relocation is needed

• Able to commit to working 40 hours a week for the 9 weeks of the internship dates of June 9, 2025 - August 8, 2025

• Able to start full time employment during business hours between August 2025 - September 2026

Preferred Qualifications

• Majoring in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related subject area

• Good analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision-making skills

• Knowledge of the MS Office suite.

• Passion for solving problems utilizing innovation and experimentation

• Optimism and curiosity, who possess a keen sense of purpose, awareness, and knowledge

• Resourcefulness and flexibility, who enjoy working through cross-functional partnerships and collaboration to achieve a common purpose

• An innovative and questioning demeanor, who constantly look for better ways to do things, have a passion for service, and seek to exceed client expectations
