UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Assistant Coach, Volleyball in Austin, Texas

Assists with successfully recruiting students to the program who are outstanding student-athletes in Volleyball and who are capable, responsible, accountable representatives of the University. Assists with managing external day to day operations, provides input on scheduling and team travel logistics and assists with coordinating off campus recruiting. Assists with scouting responsibilities, including managing statistics and charting, creating scouting reports and coordinating scouting team.Assists with camps, including providing oversight of facilities and equipment.Critically involved in all aspects of the program, is given specific autonomy, and contributes in key areas of the program including but not limited to these areas: Assists with providing oversight and instruction in technique, conditioning and methods to execute and excel during competition. Assists with practice planning and coordination of team play. Assists with training, mentoring and developing elite student-athletes. Coordinates teaching videos, in-practice and post-match.Assist with Video Exchange through Volleymetrics. Maintains video libraries. Creates highlight videos. Assists with student-athlete monitoring software. Orders and maintains all hardware and software components. Assists with creating media and social media content.Assists in management of volleyball player development center. Assists with ensures fiscal responsibility related to budgeting.Develops and maintains effective interaction with student-athletes, colleagues, university staff, alumni, media, and the general public. Assists with community outreach and community events. Participates in public appearances and serve as an outstanding role model to student athletes and as a representative of the Volleyball program, Texas Athletics and The University of Texas at Austin. May represent the Head Coach at meetings, fund-raising functions and alumni events.Assist Head Coach and Volleyball staff with duties as assignedDrive a UT or rental vehicle on and off campus.Consistently exemplify the core values and quality service standards of Texas Athletics. Always act ethically. Proactively seek guidance when unsure or unclear of a law, rule or policy applicable to you or your department/sport program. Actively participate in assigned education and training programs. Comply with all laws, policies, rules and regulations set forth by the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System, The University of Texas at Austin, NCAA, Conference, or other governing body, including state and federal laws. Annually obtain prior written approval and report all outside activities and outside income. Report knowledge of, or reasonable cause to believe, violation(s) of state or federal laws, policies, rules, or regulations of the University, Conference, or NCAA to IA ARMCS or IA HR. Fully cooperate with any investigation by providing complete and accurate information when requested to do so by Texas Athletics and/or the NCAA and do not influence others in any way during an investigation.
