Advise undergraduates on completing an interdisciplinary plan of study and help students integrate BDP requirements with degree plans.Advise students on research and internship experiences. Advise prospective students individually and in groups, coordinate feedback on application essays, and help students define educational and career goals. Contribute to faculty panel meetings and convey faculty feedback to the students. Serve as the BDP Connecting Experiences coordinator, acting as a liaison with internship sites, cultivating relationships with internship and research assistantship sites, and maintaining a blog with internship and research assistantship opportunities. Serve as an active member of the BDP team, contributing to program planning, outreach and communication, events, faculty panel meetings, and programming and advising initiatives. Coordinate student workshops, panels, and other events designed to help students find, successfully obtain, and present on their connecting research and internship experiences. Perform assigned BDP program-related duties, which may include coordinating student events; assisting with outreach; and contributing to other projects and events as assigned. Coordinate career-oriented events for BDP students, working in conjunction with career services offices at UT. Serve as an active member of the Undergraduate College team, contributing to program planning, serving on committees, and attending UC events and meetings as needed.
