UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Associate Director, Community Engaged Experiences in Austin, Texas
Program Leadership and ManagementDevelop, plan and implement strategies necessary to ensure high-quality delivery of relevant experiential learning opportunities to advanced degree (AD) students and deliverables to client organizations. Manage the budget, human resources, external funding and revenue generation related to the CONNECT program. Work closely with the program administrator to invoice client organizations, collect payment, and distribute student awards.Innovate and Expand CONNECTManage existing and cultivate new relationships with organization clients, advanced degree students, faculty and staff across multiple colleges and schools at UT Austin, as well as external stakeholders. Benchmark existing internship, community-engaged scholarship, externships and project-based programs with the goal of re-envisioning the CONNECT program to operate at scale, increasing opportunities for all UT Austin graduate students. Collaborate closely with career and professional development team to align external organizational outreach and faculty engagement in program, and work with the team to curate professional development training for program participants. Collaborate with RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service, career service offices, and development to create and steward community and funder relationships as needed.Assessment and CommunicationDevelop and implement strategies for measuring, tracking and reporting key program goals and outcomes. Oversee effective, timely, and responsive communication and outreach efforts, including student and client organization recruitment, branding, website, social media, events and other publications and artifacts.Thought LeadershipProvide leadership to ensure the UT-Austin campus is aware of the value of the CONNECT program. Provide thought leadership and contribute to the university, state and national initiatives related to experiential learning for advanced degree students and scholars and community engagement.Other duties as assigned.
