Responsibilities
Hands-on work with advanced Terraform and Azure DevOps pipeline solutions across multiple subscriptions and environments
Seek opportunities to optimize activities in the data platforms, support activities, and processes, as well as implement mechanisms to automate/streamline activities (e.g., automating administrative activities, infrastructure, application deployments, etc.)
Communicate with multiple stakeholders
Utilize knowledge of Azure data solutions (such as Data Lake Storage, Databricks, ADF, and Synapse Analytics) to work on data workload performance improvements, monitoring, issues troubleshooting, and prevention
Responsible for collaborating with the Architecture teams to ensure all aspects of the platform architecture and design standards complement the support model
Works with the SRE team on the support of the platform
Requirements
5+ years of experience in DevOps with an enterprise-level cloud environment
5+ years of experience with Azure Cloud Services
Advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting and its application within the Azure framework
In-depth understanding of Azure PowerShell modules and commands
Ability to create, modify, and manage Azure resources through PowerShell
Advanced skills in automating and orchestrating Azure deployments through PowerShell
In-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud Services and their various deployment models
Experience with managing and scaling Azure Container Instances and Kubernetes Services
Intimate familiarity with managing and configuring Azure Functions for serverless computing
In-depth understanding of Terraform’s lifecycle, provisioners, data sources, and advanced techniques (e.g., dynamic blocks, count, for each)
Experience managing large-scale, multi-cloud, or multi-region projects using Terraform
Familiarity with Terraform Cloud or Enterprise for team-based infrastructure management
In-office 2-3 days/week
