Job Summary

As the Business Systems Analyst you will configure and support our client's INFOR applications.

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst focused on government ERP (INFOR) solutions. This position will be a full-time 6+ month contract and remote .

What You'll Do

  • Work directly with client contacts to understand business needs, propose solution options, and draft functional solution specifications

  • Work hand-in-hand with business users and IT to identify customizations and personalization supporting the evolution of a stable, highly functional ERP environment

  • Investigate, analyze, communicate, and document business processes and business requirements

  • Support product customizations, modifications and related consulting/training activities surrounding Infor applications (and related third party) technologies and tools

  • Act as the business representative to ensure all planned INFOR changes are compatible with department workflows and business requirements

  • Research solutions using the INFOR support portal and community and provide results to IT and business SMEs

  • Develop ad hoc reports as needed

  • Provide ad hoc and or formal application training to department users

  • Help plan data migrations, data cleansing and validation

What You'll Need

Required:

  • 5 years of Business Systems Analyst experience supporting Government Supply Chain and Workforce Management

  • Experience as a Business Systems Analyst specifically in a government sector environment

  • 4 years of experience specifically working with INFOR ERP solutions as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant

  • 2 years of experience configuring and supporting INFOR applications such as Supply Chain, Workforce Management, and Distribution / Requisition Orders

  • Record of success w/problem solving, demonstrated by an ability to troubleshoot INFOR business problems and identify solution options & alternatives

  • Experience analyzing, designing and directing the reporting needs for Supply Chain and Time Management

  • Experience analyzing, documenting, and designing interfaces for third party systems integrating into the Infor ERP utilizing Infor standard API’s

  • Exceptional communication skills required

Preferred

  • Experience with Birst Reports, INFOR update methodologies, data refresh and validation

  • Experience with INFOR Warehouse Management System

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
