Position Overview:

  • Responsible for Digital/Mixed-Signal Simulation, including creating advanced requirement specifications;

  • Guiding or delegating the adequate resources to debug the most technically challenging issues, and creating specifications for new features and enhancements to improve use-model;

  • Working closely with R&D to prioritize the bugs that are coming from customers, the field and QA, analyzing the issues and proposing solutions and workarounds before a fix can be developed and working on enhancements;

  • Guiding or locating the resources to debug the most complex and challenging issues when migrating customers from older solutions to the state of the art flows and proposing ways to make the migration more seamless;

  • Creating cloned testcases for R&D to help with their incremental targets when implementing complex tools and features; and developing advanced training material for the field engineers to help explain new features and how they can be used.;

  • Overseeing the team to develop technical relationships at a peer-to-peer level with their QA, R&D, account teams and customers;

  • Driving the team to develop and deliver technical presentations on new features and product updates; Mentoring and coaching direct reports to help with their career plans and goals;

  • Providing constructive/timely feedback to help direct reports grow as product engineers. Up to 95% telecommuting permitted within commutable distance.

Position requires experience in the following:

  1. Digital/Mixed-Signal simulation flow and digital/mixed-signal simulation tools.

  2. Digital simulators and hardware description languages (HDL) and digital design/verification.

  3. Determining requirements for Digital/Mixed-Signal simulators features, for digital simulator Real Number Modeling (RNM) features, and for features related to digital/Mixed-Signal debugging platforms.

  4. Debugging digital mixed-signal (DMS) designs and verification flows, identifying problems, and suggesting solutions in the software/design and in the testbench setup or verification flow

  5. Working with digital/Mixed-Signal simulator issues including bugs and enhancements coming from internal and external groups 6. Analog (SPICE) simulators and analog design/verification is a plus.

Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The salary range for this position is $145,700 to $262,300 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
