include:Develop and initiate student leadership and mentoring programs.Lead, motivate, supervise, and evaluate four professional team members, as well as student employees.Participate as a leadership team member with University Unions in decision-making, problem solving, strategic planning and assessment.Serve as coordinator of student advising, student programming budgets, collaboration, program evaluation and assessment.Establish and maintain relationships with internal/external partners and peer institutions to develop and share best practices.Coordinate and/or participate in appropriate University of Texas committees, task forces, and professional associations and conferences.Lead the departmental budgeting processes; make fiscally responsible decisions and recommendations.Review and edit all contractual agreements from internal and external sources.Ensure that all programs and activities are consistent with the mission and goals of the University.Serve as a student advocate, providing guidance and appropriate referrals to students seeking assistance.
