Hub International FinPath Data Analyst in Austin, Texas
Position Summary:
HUB Retirement and Private Wealth is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our FinPath financial wellness team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting valuable insights from complex datasets to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, and present actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, proficiency in data manipulation tools, and a passion for leveraging data to solve business challenges.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Cleaning: Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Data Analysis: Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
Statistical Modeling: Develop and apply statistical models to analyze data and make predictions or forecasts.
Data Visualization: Create clear and insightful data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Business Insights: Interpret data findings and provide actionable insights to support decision-making across the organization.
Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance and identify areas for improvement.
Data Governance: Ensure data integrity and security by adhering to best practices in data management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and continuously seek opportunities to enhance analytical capabilities within the organization.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics) is a plus.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong track record of data analysis and interpretation.
Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.
Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and predictive modeling.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Hours of Work:
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00pm with the schedule varying as program requirements dictate. This position does include travel to local office and industry events. Some early morning, evening and weekend work will potentially occur if requested by those who need support.

The expected pay range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and work location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
