Join Apple's Corporate Systems Engineering group as a Functional Integration Engineer, where you'll build innovative applications and custom solutions serving Apple Partners and Corporate Employees. The Corporate Systems Engineering group at Apple is dedicated to engineering creative busi- ness solutions that meet the evolving needs of Apple's Finance, Sales, Retail, iTunes, and IT Service organizations. As a member of the development team, you will play a crucial role in designing functional process flows and managing various custom-built and/or packaged solutions. This role is not task-based; you will be responsible for the delivery and success of your solutions. We seek individuals with a proven track record of working complex projects under demanding time- lines. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of soft- ware projects for multiple Apple Finance business teams. The ideal candidate will have a pas- sion for quality, a keen eye for detail, and functional understanding of building scalable web/ cloud applications, along with experience deploying packaged solutions with integration ex- perience. Strong customer focus, the ability to work on multiple parallel tracks, build and maintain relationships, and a proven ability to influence and collaborate are key qualities re- quired to excel in this role.

Description

Manage applications, designing, and configuring enhancements that delivers significant re- turn on investment by bridging the gap between out-of-the-box functionalities and business processes. Drive the end to end execution of software development throughout the product development lifecycle and ensure on time delivery. Contribute multiple projects, setting priorities with measurable objectives, monitoring and reporting on the progress and results. Define solutions for next generation web with high performance and scalability. Document functional requirements, use cases, and business processes. Work with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements. Assist in the creation of prototypes, mock-ups, and user interface designs. Develop functional and engineering specifications and ensure they are aligned with business goals. Develop and implement optimal solutions for integrating business processes with down- stream systems. Finance business process integration experience. Lead data migration initiatives, including automation, by establishing and enforcing stringent data governance practices to guarantee exceptional accuracy and data integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project or product management or engineering experience.

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to partner and collaborate with business teams to grasp business needs, pro- cesses and all related functional aspects; influence and deliver technical solutions.

  • Experience with Contracts Management Tools such as Icertis, Apttus or Emptoris is a plus

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL coding and reporting tools.

  • Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills, in addition to the ability to deal effec- tively with ambiguity and drive consensus with key constituents.

  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare management-level

  • presentations and produce well-structured proposal documents.
