Support and integrate with the Musculoskeletal Institute to ensure shared knowledge and a multidisciplinary approach is applied to patients presenting with musculoskeletal complaints.Develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans to maintain, improve, or restore physical function, alleviate pain, and prevent further debilitation in patients.Through initial evaluation of both operative and non-operative patients, determine which patients can improve with home therapy programs versus those that will require traditional office monitored physical therapy programs.Teach home therapy programs to patients in the office and maintain communication with patients as they perform their programs. Critical evaluation of patient progress will be required to ensure that patients are appropriately progressing with the treatment plan and interventions are made when patients are not.Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation in accordance with Texas Physical Therapy Practice Act. Participate in continuing clinical education to ensure knowledge and skills are up to date and relevant.Perform other related functions as assigned.
