ESTAFF LLC Power BI developer in AUSTIN, Texas
[We are seeking a Power BI developer to work on ourW2on a long-termhybrid (2 days/week On-site)contract position with our Austin, Texas client. In this role you will build complex dimensional data models and reports from the bottom up, visualize compelling data stories on the report canvas, collaborate with other teams to engineer revolutionary wide data solutions, and develop and implement data visualization solutions.
[You will need to rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently perform various complicated tasks, and maybe even lead and direct the work of others, which requires a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
[Key Responsibilities [ Develop and implement sophisticated data visualization solutions using Power BI [ Build complex dimensional data models from the ground up [ Create interactive and visually compelling reports on the Power BI canvas [ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to engineer innovative data solutions [ Develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts (Python, M, and DAX) [ Perform efficient deep data analysis [ Lead and direct the work of others as needed
[Requirements [ Proven experience in creating dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI [ Mastery in data analytics [ Proficiency in Power BI scripting languages (Python, M, and DAX) [ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail [ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
[Preferred [ Prior experience in data-related tasks [ Familiarity with SAS and its dataset format (.sas7bdat) [ Experience with source control systems, particularly Git or BitBucket [ Knowledge of other BI tools such as SAP and Tableau [ Experience using Jira for project management [ Previous experience working with state agencies
