Description
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Tech Acceleration Solutions (TAS) Architect team partners with customers and AWS Tech builders to design and build some of the most scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures and solutions. AWS TAS Solutions architects collaborate with customers, AWS Global Sales, Marketing and Services teams to build innovative solutions that minimize customers effort to use AWS Cloud services.
As a Solutions Architect on the AWS Global Sales Tech Acceleration Solutions (TAS) team, you will have the opportunity to help define and execute a strategy to build deep adoption and broad use of AWS GenAI by AWS tech builders and customers.
You will do this by mobilizing AWS and Amazon teams and working directly with customers and partners to identify and implement accelerators for AWS Cloud services adoption using GenAI, AI and ML. You will work with a team of SAs who
Apply business and technical skills to rapidly design well-architected solutions that help customers accelerate their adoption of AWS cloud.
Are known for high velocity assessment, prioritization, and build of quality, innovative solutions.
Continuously seek out the voice of the customer to guide their prioritization, and assess and increase their effectiveness.
Actively contribute to solution design enhancement initiatives across AWS.
Key job responsibilities
In your role of Principal Solution Architect-GenAI in the AGS TAS organization you will
Apply your deep expertise in GenAI prompt engineering, user experience design, data management and architecture to accelerate the development of innovative scalable end user productivity solutions that leverage GenAI
Develop and lead others in developing reusable GenAI assets (including prompt libraries, design artifacts and use case starter kits) that help AGS Tech builders select the right GenAI architectures for their customer use cases.
Evangelize AWS GenAI services and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, white-papers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summits, AWS re:Invent, Tech Summits.
Partner with Sales, Tech and Services teams across AWS to prioritize the solutions that will accelerate customer adoption of GenAI services.
Benchmark continuously to elevate the innovation, quality and delivery speed of solutions.
Identify and implement opportunities to integrate TAS open source approaches into AGS tech and AWS cross organization operating model.

Basic Qualifications
10+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing
Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CI/CD solutions in the context of MLOps and LLMOps, including automation with IaC
Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation or equivalent
Experience in systems design with the ability to architect and explain data pipelines, ML pipelines, and ML training and serving approaches.
Knowledge of large-scale automation and workflow management or equivalent
Knowledge of database design and implementation or equivalent
Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers.
Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $164,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $284,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
