Perform advanced mathematical and statistical analyses of data to identify insights, develop heat maps, and support decision making by research sponsors.Develop new methods for presenting information to decision makers including 3-D and 4-D visualization of highway infrastructure components and corridors using proprietary software and other methods as determined during studies.Develop new and innovative analysis methods to solve transportation safety, funding decision support and policy support questions posed by sponsors.Work independently or with other research team members to develop project deliverables within time and funding constraints set by the contract.Write or assist in writing research proposals to obtain funded projects.Write or assist in writing sponsored research reports, interagency contract reports and research papers for publication in professional journals.Make professional presentations at state, national and international conferences of authored and co-authored professional papers, research project reports and invited talks.
