The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for developing a framework to gain better visibility into enterprise-wide spend. The candidate will work closely with our Opco IT and finance teams to integrate live data sources from all Opcos to enable enhanced functional drill-down capabilities, trending information, spending benchmarks and visibility into Opco spend patterns.
This position is part of the Corporate Financial, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team and will be located in Washington DC.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Collaborate closely with Operating Companies (Opco) IT and Finance teams to understand the underlying business logic of the data sources (Attend 3-4 day in person workshops at our Opco sites)
Review the Opco ERP and consolidation systems and map the ERP data in a logical format to enable drill-down capabilities of Opco spend (e.g. by department, vendor, description, etc.)
Development of artificial intelligence and machine learning tools (including LLMs) to analyze and transform large and complex financial data sets. Hands-on training will be provided
Work closely with the G&A functional leaders on business requirements to build a consistent ontology framework / reporting structure for each function in collaboration with IT teams
Manage reports and lead ad hoc projects including data collection for SEC reporting requirements, inventory optimization across Danaher, 360 degree customer view, etc.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting with CPA preferred
Minimum of 5 years in areas of increasing responsibility in a finance function
Proficient in reporting and dashboarding tools and techniques
Excellent executive presence, communication and relationship building skills
Multi-tasking capabilities; professionally handles the pressure of meeting multiple, high-priority deadlines
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Prior experience and proficiency with tools BI and Analytics tools like Palantir, SQL and Power BI will be an asset
Will be a self-starter and proven team player capable of prioritizing his or her own work and/or problems simultaneously
Must be comfortable working in a high-energy, quickly changing and demanding environment
The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $110,000 to $120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
