What you’ll do:

  • Primarily partner with our R&D teams to help drive efficiencies, headcount management, cost-benefit analysis, pricing, and related activities while having the flexibility to assist our GTM Finance team with reporting, modeling, and analysis.

  • Own and improve management-level reporting to assist in analyzing results and present forecasts, be a stakeholder in driving business strategy and performance, and assess business risk and health.

  • Build and foster a deep business partnership with functional leaders and their extended teams to drive monthly business reviews, short & long-range financial planning processes, ad-hoc reporting, and analysis.

  • Create, manage, and own short-term to long-range plans, benchmarking, and other relevant models and analyses.

  • Implement and continue to drive improvements to our forecasting and budgeting processes including optimization, reporting, and accuracy.

  • Lead our financial consolidation process in partnership with the rest of the FP&A team to provide a single source of truth.

  • Contribute to the preparation of quarterly BOD materials, weekly executive reporting, monthly budget vs actuals, and other ad-hoc reporting.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance in an operational role at a SaaS company with a subscription-based revenue model. Previous experience with term license and consumption-based models is a plus.

  • Skilled in Tableau and the ability to scope, create, and maintain dashboards in partnership with data engineering and science teams.

  • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguous requirements by bringing direction, prioritization, timelines, and communication with stakeholders spanning all facets of the company.

  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar tools is a strong plus.

  • Previous experience working directly with senior business leaders as a partner and trusted advisor by providing actionable insights through persuasive writing, presentations, and communication.

  • Advanced financial and operational modeling skills in Excel and Google Sheets with the ability to analyze large datasets from multiple financial systems.

  • Previous experience working with, mentoring, and/or coaching employees interested in leveling up our team and shaping the why, what, and how of our work.
