Amazon’s Global Supply Chain (GSC) team is looking for an experienced Sr. Supply Chain Manager to join our Supply Chain Innovation team. The position will shape the strategies and applications of innovative supply chain concepts that enable seamless flow of packages into Amazon's inbound network. This is a high impact role with an opportunity to influence one of the most high visibility and impactful areas of Amazon's supply chain.
The Senior Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing the strategy and network design of the inbound network. The Senior Supply Chain Manager will own the collective strategy for inbound architecture of inventory flows from seller/vendor to the storage bin. In this role, regular communication and collaboration with stakeholders and leaders across product, capacity planning, finance, science, and tech teams will be critical. The role requires an understanding of volume and operations planning, and awareness of policy and process changes happening in the broader supply chain ecosystem. The role also holds significant responsibility with owning and presenting major planning cycle documents for the entire inbound customer fulfillment organization. The ideal candidate is someone who is highly analytical, collaborative, thrives within ambiguity, and a self-starter.
Key job responsibilities
Own and influence impactful, strategic initiatives and programs for the entire inbound supply chain.
Take ownership of strategic planning cycles; develop mechanisms to engage partner teams and compose the strategic narrative for leadership reviews.
Form cross-functional teams across Capacity Planning, SCOT, Science, Finance, and Tech to plan and execute complex new initiatives.
Understand various businesses' supply chain strategies and explore new technologies or best practices to bring into the inbound network.
Continuously evaluate and improve aspects of network performance; identify inefficiencies and deviations from strategy, analyze trade-offs, recommend solves, and influence partner teams to execute.
Form strong relationships with partner teams to understand changing requirements and prioritize tasks to meet their needs.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
5+ years of supply chain experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
