Description and Requirements
We are seeking a Strategic Account Executive for our Tier 1 Cloud Service Partner (CSP) business in the Seattle/Bay Area. This person will maintain key relationships with our most valued customer. This individual will also be in a very high-profile segment within Lenovo and must be comfortable with Executive Level Discussions and critical decision making abilities while leading a highly skilled team and growing the business overall.
In addition, the candidate must be able to perform the following:
Manage the total customer relationship; responsible for revenue, wallet share, and customer satisfaction and driving growth in assigned accounts
Maintain and cultivate senior executive relationships
Lead account planning and opportunity identification; conduct opportunity prioritization and develop overall account plans for assigned accounts
Plan, facilitate and/or conduct complex negotiations for assigned accounts
Conduct deep analysis in identifying complex problems; generate and coordinate solutions with other functions or team members to solve complex problems
Provide support and training to other team members
Problem Solving- analyze complex new situations, anticipate future problems and trends, access each opportunity for impacts and risks
Clearly define problems- logically diagnose causes, identify solutions and create action plans
Solution Selling
Cross company negotiations
Drive custom portfolios
Integrate with Development, Services and Program Management
Global understanding of business flow and continuity
Apply creativity and good judgment in developing new approaches and solutions
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of technical or related sales experience required
7+ years of sales in server product experience and ODM space
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to create quarterly business plans and annual Playbooks
Integrity, willingness to provide feedback in challenging situations
Knowledge of the supply chain is very important
Project Management Skills
Proficient in selling to engineers
5+ years of experience in the strategic selling of future and current technologies
B.S./B.A. or equivalent training
The base salary range budgeted for this position is $162,000 - $216,000, if a candidate is located in California, the range is $168,000- $225,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com.
