EMS LINQ Vice President, Product Marketing in Austin, Texas

Position Summary:

As the Vice President, Product Marketing, you will be the driving force behind owning and evolving GTM at scale, intimately understand our customers, knowing our competition, effectively creating demand and increasing measurable ROI for customers, prospects and LINQers.

You are an experienced product marketing leader, ready and able to craft our product marketing strategy and execution. In this role you will be responsible for driving customer and revenue growth by strengthening our leadership position in the market with differentiated go-to-marketing strategy, driving better engagement with prospects, users, and buyers, and garnering market insights to inform product strategy and sales execution.

You and your team will be measured by Key Performance Indicators including improving growth metrics (product line ARR), product activation and adoption (NRR), competitive win rates and expansion plays. This role requires building strong cross-functional partnerships with teams including product management, sales, solutions consulting, client experience and the rest of marketing to create long-term value for our customers and the business.

This role requires a proven ability to execute strategically with a focus on measurable outcomes, building and developing a high-performance team in a fast-growing SaaS company, and experience in driving business transformation. You’ll spend time with customers learning about their needs and challenges. As a critical thinker and catalyst for change, you will drive key initiatives and cross-functional programs required to increase revenue.

What You’ll Do:

• You can easily pivot between high-level strategic thinking and vision setting to execution with an eye on outcomes & details. You are okay with ambiguity, and generally thrive in it.

• Work closely with leaders across LINQ Product Management, Client Experience, Sales, Solution Consulting teams and the rest of Marketing to make product & customer initiatives successful in the markets we serve including new product launches, product refreshes, upsell/cross-sell strategies and conversion strategies.

• Define, communicate, and evangelize targeted value propositions that differentiate LINQ products in the various markets & customer segments we serve.

• Enable our customer-facing teams with targeted content, playbooks, and messaging; drive consistency in the value that we articulate through all channels, aligning and informing demand generation, events, digital and customer marketing programs.

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to evolve customer personas, segmentation, and recommendations that will inform and influence our product roadmap and marketing strategies. Maintain intelligence on competition and industry, providing insights cross functionally. This includes but not limited to ownership of competitive intelligence and win/loss analysis programs and contribution to NPS programs.

• Build the GTM strategy & playbook at LINQ in concert with Product Management. Redefine and modernize Product Launch motions in-concert with internal stakeholders part of this effort. Assess release notes process and optimize for both customer experience and revenue potential.

• Create repeatable, scalable process that align product marketing motions across the organization. Define OKRs and KPIs to determine effectiveness.

• Recruit, lead, and develop a high performing marketing team focused on accelerating go-to-market efforts to drive continued growth through messaging, positioning, storytelling, and competitive insights.

What you bring to the role:

• 10+ years of experience in GTM roles (marketing, sales, solution engineering) or related fields, 5 years developing and leading teams (directly and cross-functionally).

• Proven success leading product marketing in a fast-paced multi-product Enterprise Software/SaaS company.

• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams

• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive organization change and successfully introduction of scalable product marketing processes and frameworks.

• Experienced storyteller able to develop a memorable narrative for any products, and for different personas, and can coach others to do the same

• Experience managing multiple product lines across different persona types and regions within the multi-sales segments

• Desire and passion to get “hands-on” with the products, our teams, our processes and playbooks to deepen skills and expertise. Be the Player/Coach.

• Exceptional verbal, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

• Strong project management skills including agile practices

• Experience in public sector and/or compliance-driven industries is a plus.
