Job Overview:

As aLifeguard,you’llbe responsible formonitoringallfunctions ofthe pool area while interacting andprovidinghigh level customer service to homeowners and guests.

Your Responsibilities:

• Greet and register all homeowners and guests when at lifeguard desk
• Enforce pool rule,policiesand regulations
• Perform first aid and water rescue, when necessary
• Provideexceptional customer service to all patrons
• Complete daily opening and closing procedures
• Test pool water chemistry andmaintainappropriate records
• Maintainclean and sanitary pool, pool area,restroomsand shower areas
• Perform other duties and special projects as requested

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of High School diploma. CPR Certification is desirable.
• Customer Service experience a plus
• Current American Red Cross or equivalent Lifeguard and CPR Certificationrequired
• Basic knowledge of pool operations and safety

• Must be at least 15 years of age (working papersrequired, as needed)

• Ability to communicate effectively written and verbal

• Attention to detail
• Capable of working extended hours,includingevenings,weekendsandholidaysas necessary.
• Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed.
• Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so thatvarious typesof communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone.
• Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting,carryingand moving objects that can weigh up to 25 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day.
• Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills.
• Must be able to work in small and confined spaces for extended periods of time.
• Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.

Compensation:

$13 per hour
