Due to expansion, Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc., is seeking a full time Family Lived Experience Peer Recovery Specialist to be part of our existing interdisciplinary team focused on addictions recovery and goal achievement to school-based youths as well as their families in Avon, Indiana within Hendricks County.
Duties Include:
Engage in assessments, person-centered service planning, and culturally competent service delivery.
Use unique skills, personal as well as family life experiences to guide the individuals served through the multiple life challenges and opportunities that exist.
Education and/or Experience:
Seeking candidates with personal experience who lived with a family member that endured addictions/substance use.
Candidates with experience working with youths is a plus.
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
