Job Summary The Senior Regulatory Specialist will * Support US and Canada regional customer inquiries related to Avient products meeting various global regulations. * Proactively identify and recommend steps to mitigate impact of impending regulatory changes on Avient's portfolio. * Work with suppliers to maintain all required raw material regulatory information. * Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of the Product Regulatory information systems (including SAP EH&S modules on Product Safety, HazComm, Dangerous Goods, etc). Ideal candidate is located in Northeast Ohio. May consider remote based on qualifications. Essential Functions * Understand, apply and stay current with all applicable regulations related to Hazard Communication (North America, Europe, Asia, etc.), such as GHS, EU CLP and other regional regulations * Work with North American regulatory agencies such as EPA, FDA, FIFRA to assist in product registrations, and submissions. * Maintain all relevant product information within the SAP EH&S Module and other PS systems provide data for various reports. * Provide timely responses to customer inquiries in the US and Canadian regions * Obtain and maintain compliance information on various raw materials to support customer requests related to REACH, RoHS, TSCA, Prop 65 etc. * Perform on-site audits of North American manufacturing facilities to ascertain compliance with standards such as RCMS, and GMP. * Work with the technology team to assist in developing and maintaining Product Stewardship/Regulatory standards for new product development. * Work with manufacturing plants to provide guidance on best practices to maintain regulatory compliance and provide training to end-users. * Create documentation of internal Product stewardship processes and proce
