Robert Half HR Coordinator in Azusa, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a HR Coordinator in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry, based in Azusa, California, 91702, United States. As a HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate human resource files, addressing inquiries from applicants and employees, managing onboarding processes, and supporting various HR projects.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

• Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees regarding company policies.

• Create new files and provide necessary information on forms and reports.

• Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

• Manage onboarding processes for both field and office workers across multiple states.

• Support various HR projects and daily tasks as needed.

• Create badges for all new hires, draft promotion letters, and assist with terminations.

• Approve and allocate invoices for background checks.

• Manage integrations from beginning to end.

• Comfortable with numeric data, analysis with numbers, and MS Excel.

• Resourceful and knowledgeable about HR procedures and policies.

• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations.

• Use ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, HRMS, About Time, Background Checks, Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, Paycom, Maintain Files, and Onboarding skills.

Please note: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field and Paycom experience is preferred. They should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of HR federal laws and regulations, and knowledge of MS Office and learning new technical systems as needed. Bilingual: Spanish required. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry

• Proficient in the use of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with HRMS (Human Resource Management System)

• Bilingual Spanish is a MUST!

• Ability to conduct Background Checks in a professional and ethical manner

• Proficient in managing Benefit Functions

• Experience in Compensation Administration tasks

• Strong understanding of Compliance procedures within the industry

• Proficiency in using Paycom software

• Ability to maintain and organize files effectively

• Experience with Onboarding new employees effectively and efficiently
