Project Manager

Our Construction Project Manager will be a results-driven professional responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves effective communication and delegation of duties with the project team, meticulous project planning, budget management, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The Construction Project Manager navigates challenges, manages resources efficiently, and ensures that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination

Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.

Acquire, approve, and return submittals to expedite placement of project materials.

Coordinate and communicate effectively with construction Project Engineer and jobsite Superintendent to ensure project goals are understood and met.

Budget Management

Monitor project budgets and financial performance, ensuring that projects are completed within approved budgets.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project financials.

Schedule Management

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all milestones are achieved on time.

Proactively address any schedule delays and implement corrective actions.

Quality Control

Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that construction projects meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and quality.

Contract Negotiation and Management

Negotiate contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Manage contract administration, including change orders,

Risk Management

Work with Safety Department to Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Monitor and manage project risks throughout the construction process.

Team Leadership

Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.

Foster a collaborative and positive working environment.

Client Relations

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and project updates.

Address client concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager with a successful track record of managing projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, ProCore, Build Pro

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
