General Summary

This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers and assisting and maintaining various supply functions to ensure inventory and supply levels are optimal.

Essential Job Accountabilities

  • Maintain pricing information and inventory levels within Trakquip to ensure proper tracking of all small tool supplies and equipment.

  • Process accounts payable invoices, assist with inbound/outbound correspondence, and any other tasks to assist the Small Tools Manager in maintaining high customer service standards.

  • Maintain the fax database for external customers to capitalize on marketing opportunities.

  • Perform jobsite and foremen toolkit maintenance including rental equipment such as message boards, barricades to ensure quality and quantity of available products.

  • Process all morning internal tags to ensure accurate and timely information.

  • Track the inventory and billing of rented portable toilets to maximize use and reduce cost.

  • Process all DMV paperwork of small tool assigned equipment to ensure proper documentation of Granite inventory.

  • Assist with Granite crew support to assist in the efficient prosecution of their work.

  • Assist with purchasing of inventory and supplies to ensure appropriate levels of stock are maintained in a cost effective and efficient manner.

  • Depending on location provide pick-up and delivery service of tools and supplies and inspect all vehicles to ensure timely and safe delivery.

  • Responsible for facilities management including water wells, gates, HVAC, alarms, etc.

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree a plus.

Work Experience

  • 2-4 years small tools and Construction experience a plus.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Working knowledge of computer software i.e. Microsoft Office

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.

Additional Requirements/Skills

  • Valid drivers license and clean DMV record

  • Ability to abide by Granites Code of Conduct on a daily basis.

Base Salary Range:

$45,333.00 - $68,000.00
