Kennedy Krieger Institute Behavior Analyst I (NBU) in Baltimore, Maryland
Overview
The Behavior Analyst I will provide clinical services, clinical supervision and case management for Neurobehavioral Unit cases as specified by the Director of the NBU; participate in hiring, supervising and evaluating therapy staff; participate in programs of systematic research.
Responsibilities
Provide direct clinical services, clinical supervision and case management of inpatients.
Provide supportive clinical services to families of inpatients.
Complete administrative tasks, as assigned.
Participate in research projects involving the assessment and treatment of behavior disorders.
Participate in hiring, supervising and evaluating inpatient therapy staff.
Participate in administrative and clinical meetings as necessary.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- Master’s degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, education, or a related discipline required.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two years’ experience in a multi-disciplinary setting dealing with normal and disabled children is preferred.
Experience in conducting research and communicating research findings via professional conferences, peer reviewed journals, seminars, etc. preferred.
