University of Maryland, Baltimore Cardiovascular Medicine Physician-Scientist (3-309-1160) in Baltimore, Maryland

The Cardiovascular Medicine Division of the Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for a senior physician-scientist. Expected rank will be Associate Professor or Professor, however, final rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the research, teaching and/or clinical missions of the University, will sustain an externally funded individual research program consistent with the Department and School of Medicine's vision, assist in the recruitment of funded investigators, and enhance cardiology research opportunities for the division. Ample time will be protected for research.
