Position Summary

Under Armour’s vision is to be the #1 Performance Athletic Brand in the world. To help achieve this goal, we are building a progressive Financial Planning & Analysis team whose focus is developing core competencies in the areas of FP&A, Decision Support, and Strategy Execution. The Lead, Retail Labor Management individual will be a key member of our team by supporting our retail fleet investment strategy. This individual should be an expert in workforce management financial modeling and possess the analytical expertise to lead testing and derive clear actions for the fleet.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Reporting and Analytics – Own all aspects of reporting with respect to retail labor performance:

  • Build and maintain dashboards aimed at tracking performance vs. plan

  • Trend analysis

  • Derive key insights based on key performance indicators to drive efficiencies

  • Forecasting:

  • Support monthly forecast deliverables as it relates to labor plans

  • Lead in month estimate updates based on weekly performance

  • Focus on process improvements to improve forecast accuracy across the fleet

  • Test initiatives aimed at driving in-store performance and model out cost/benefit analysis

  • Partner cross-functionally with Human Resources, store operations, and retail leadership to strategize on key initiatives across the business

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to lead and influence others

  • Strategic thinking with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and articulate ideas and financial results into actionable recommendations

Education And / Or Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree

  • At least four (4) years of overall work experience with majority of experience in workforce management, field finance, data analytics, and/or retail

Other Requirements

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD

  • Travel: Less than 10% travel required

  • Expertise in Excel: financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis (ROI, NPV, and IRR analysis)

  • Advance knowledge of workforce management systems (Kronos experience preferred)

  • SAP and Financial Planning Software experience preferred
