Worcester Eisenbrandt Construction Payroll and Accounts Payable Administrator in Baltimore, Maryland
Worcester Eisenbrandt, a specialist in historic restoration construction is seeking a Payroll/Accounts Payable Administrator for a full time office position.
Job responsibilities:
Complete all payroll functions using ADP Workforce now
Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies, verify pay amounts and hours of work
Ensure all staff members receive accurate weekly pay
Issue and record adjustments to pay related to previous errors
Complete certified payroll uploads
Receive and verify invoices and requisitions
Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
Maintain listing of accounts payable
Maintain updated vendor files, file names, and W9s
Respond to internal and external payroll inquiries
Maintain a filing system for all financial documents; Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files
Record and issues training certifications
Adhere to payroll and account payable reporting standards
Order office supplies
Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED, Associates in Accounting is preferred
a minimum of 3 years’ experience in payroll and accounts payable
Experience with payroll systems and accounting software (ADP Workforce now and Foundation accounting software is a plus)
Knowledgeable about general accounting principles; ability to calculate numbers and perform data entry.
Ability to understand and follow complex, oral and written instructions
Ability to establish and maintain vendor relationships
Sufficient computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and/or Internet to perform required duties.
