Worcester Eisenbrandt Construction Payroll and Accounts Payable Administrator in Baltimore, Maryland

Worcester Eisenbrandt, a specialist in historic restoration construction is seeking a Payroll/Accounts Payable Administrator for a full time office position.

Job responsibilities:

  • Complete all payroll functions using ADP Workforce now

  • Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies, verify pay amounts and hours of work

  • Ensure all staff members receive accurate weekly pay

  • Issue and record adjustments to pay related to previous errors

  • Complete certified payroll uploads

  • Receive and verify invoices and requisitions

  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances

  • Maintain listing of accounts payable

  • Maintain updated vendor files, file names, and W9s

  • Respond to internal and external payroll inquiries

  • Maintain a filing system for all financial documents; Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files

  • Record and issues training certifications

  • Adhere to payroll and account payable reporting standards

  • Order office supplies

  • Perform other duties as needed

    Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED, Associates in Accounting is preferred

  • a minimum of 3 years’ experience in payroll and accounts payable

  • Experience with payroll systems and accounting software (ADP Workforce now and Foundation accounting software is a plus)

  • Knowledgeable about general accounting principles; ability to calculate numbers and perform data entry.

  • Ability to understand and follow complex, oral and written instructions

  • Ability to establish and maintain vendor relationships

  • Sufficient computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and/or Internet to perform required duties.
