Overview
The Project Coordinator will coordinate administrative projects and tasks that support the Associate Chief Medical while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Initiates work projects to support organizational objectives as assigned by the Associate Chief Medical Officer (ACMO).
Develops, directs, coordinates, and implements planning and scheduling for assigned projects.
Monitors and evaluates project strategies, progress, deadlines, and results. Recommends and initiates necessary adjustments to project plans.
Prepares reports regarding the project status.
Attends and participates in identified internal and external meetings.
Coordinates the Adult Consent/Surrogacy process.
Coordinates and maintains the provider on-call schedule for the inpatient unit.
Coordinates Medical Staff Onboarding.
Coordinates the sedation program.
Makes recommendations on process improvement initiatives, workflow systems, and standard operating procedures.
Ensures equity, diversity, and inclusion are embedded in all project tasks.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
EDUCATION:
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required. 2 or more years of experience beyondthe minimum requirement may be substituted for this education requirement at the discretion of theAssociate Chief Medical Officer.
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience required.
• Previous project management experience strongly preferred.
• Previous experience working in a healthcare administrative environment is preferred.
