Johns Hopkins University Research Program Assistant II in Baltimore, Maryland

We are currently seeking a Research Program Assistant II to assist on several new and ongoing research projects related to the opioid crisis. Staff members will assist along all aspects of various primary and secondary research projects.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • surveying participants for a large-scale primary data collection projects.

  • data collection, cleaning, management.

  • qualitative and quantitative coding and analysis; and assisting on the development of both academic publications and policy recommendations.

  • Research Program Assistants may also be asked to assist with internal project coordination.

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be computer efficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Must be well-organized, efficient, accurate, and responsible and be able to interact with faculty, staff, students and project participants.

  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.

  • Two years related experience.

  • Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred in Public Health or a related field preferred.

Role/Level/Range: ACRO40/E/02/CC

Starting Salary Range: $15.50 - $26.00 HRLY (Commensurate with experience)

Employee group: Casual / On Call

Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9 am – 5 pm

Exempt Status: Non-Exempt
