Actalent Technical Writer in Baltimore, Maryland

On Site Technical Writer - Chemical Manufacturing

Location: Baltimore, MD - must be local to work on site with the team

Description:

Will assist with document re-write and creation of ISO documents at the direction of the lead Quality Associate/Technical Writer

Work with the “Client” project leads to review and understand current document control requirements

Work with “Client” project leads to define and document process for checking out through checking in documents for review utilizing the existing “Client” electronic document management system

Work with area subject matter experts and Sr Quality Associate/ Technical Writer to review and re-write 300+ documents

Provide onsite services where document accuracy is reviewed both in the manufacturing area and office environment with consultation of subject matter experts

Analyze information required for the development or update of procedures required in both normal and emergency conditions

Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for reader comprehension

Perform editing functions (content, format, etc.) within a word processing program that is compatible with the “Client” electronic document management system for documents that are overdue or coming due within the timeframe of this project

Handle typing, duplication, and distribution of documents within Client system

Ensure documents are complete understandable, and accurately represent the appropriate visual presentation of data

Follow all client documentation practices and policies
