Requirements and skills :
B.E. Mechanical/ Industrial engineering/ Automobile with 5-7 years of relevant experience
Proficiency working in PLM Teamcenter and NX, knowledge of FEA and its process
Experience in Concept and Design of Welding, Handling and Assembly Fixtures
Strong in GD&T, Tolerance stack-up, DFM
Knowledge of OSHAS and EHS requirements as per industry standards
Strong knowledge in Fabrication, Machining & Assembly process
Knowledge of Material selection and its applications
Must know Design Hand calculations
Strong knowledge of Engineering standards [ANSI, ISO, ASTM]
Good in using MS Office applications
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, accountability and schedule-oriented
Flexible to work in the US time zone for effective team engagement (as needed)
Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
Exposure to Shop floor environment
Responsibilities :
Able to clearly understand the problem definition/scope of work
Should create a Design Concept and recommended ideas for fixture design.
Should be able to engage with a cross-functional team of Design, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and EHS teams (Internal and external)
Primarily involved in Tollgate review meetings
Release of drawings and Models in Teamcenter
