Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. The Project Controls Engineer supports the tracking, updating and monitoring of cost control, and scheduling functions on smaller projects.

  2. Fully understand the scope of the project, contractual requirements, identify the major milestones and set clear priorities for the project team.

  3. Participate in preparation of Cost and Schedule estimates for various Gate reviews.

  4. Mentor junior project controls engineers and ensure the technical quality and timeliness of work.

  5. Serve as a link to the Project Services Common Skill Center organization, gain alignment for support.

  6. Maintain the Project Controls related plans and procedures.

  7. Ensure implementation of the stewardship process identify and champion process improvements

  8. Participate in kick-offs and ongoing meetings with the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor(s) to ensure common understanding of project controls requirements. Preparation of MoM.

  9. Coordinate the collecting, analyzing, and reporting of project cost and schedule control information to ensure overall project status is assessed.

  10. Ensure the implementation of the plans and procedures developed for the project.

  11. Update progress and cost/schedule baselines and forecast.

  12. Preparation of Cost/Schedule and Progress reports and trends.

  13. Understand the full project & procurement life cycle in oil, gas or petrochemical industries.

  14. Preparation of MIS, management review package & Various reports.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  1. Knowledge about EPC projects

  2. Bachelor's of Engineering (Mechanical / Civil)

  3. Primavera P6

Desired Skills:

  1. Oil & Gas domain knowledge

  2. PowerBI , Tableau
