The opportunity

  • This position leads the Launch & Product Change Management (LPCM) function for EMSO APAC and would be accountable for all New Product Introductions and Site transfers to APAC region.

  • This position will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of project management related to external manufacturing partnerships and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of launch and transfer projects, from inception to delivery, while maintaining compliance with regulations and overall EMSO business strategy. He/she will represent EMSO APAC in global forums for new product introductions and

  • Additionally, this role will be responsible for leading the team in alignment and improvement of existing EMSO Launch and Transfer project management processes.

  • Travel Requirements: 10 – 15%

How you’ll spend your day

  1. Strategic Leadership:

  2. Develop and communicate project management vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.

  3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project goals with EMSO objectives and regulatory requirements.

  4. Project Planning and Execution:

  5. Lead the development of project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.

  6. Ensure the successful execution of projects, monitoring progress, managing risks and implementing changes as needed.

  7. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  9. Collaborate internally and externally to align project objectives, resolve issues and ensure seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.

  10. Collaborate with other functional leaders to secure necessary resources and support for successful project execution.

  11. Risk Management:

  12. Identify and assess risks associated with projects and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

  13. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges in the LPCM team.

  14. Budget Oversight:

  15. Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

  16. Provide regular financial reports and updates to executive leadership.

Your experience and qualifications

Experience:

  • 13 years' experience in the industry, with significant years as a project manager working in a cross functional team environment (CFT) in a large sized pharmaceutical MNC.

  • Deep understanding of project management best practices, change management,

  • Basic knowledge of US and EU regulatory filings

  • Experience with commercialization of products in regulated markets including US and EU

Qualification:

  • Master's in pharmacy

  • Proficiency in MS Projects.

  • PMP certification is a distinct advantage.

  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partnerships.

  • Ability to present to senior leadership with excellent communication and negotiation skills, particularly in a global environment.
