Lead qualifier & Inside Sales / Service sales Representative

POSITION SUMMARY:.

This position is responsible for proactively going after calibration and service opportunities based on the Installed base data & renew service contracts to maintain and grow Service and calibration Revenue. The representative will also qualify the MQL’s received from various sources , submit quote and follow up for orders .

Representative will need to quickly build customer rapport; and establish trust and credibility through a consultative selling style, leveraging customer relationships and OTT value propositions to ensure the on-time acquisition of calibration and service business. Representative will receive support and guidance from their leaders and from partners in other OTT teams, however it is imperative that a self-starter mentality is in place, along with the ability to manage and build the business. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the product or product range we are selling. This includes technical details, features and benefits

  • Managing customer interactions, serve as the main point of contact during the sales cycle, Supporting communication between the customers, service team, and other sales professionals

  • Distinguish between regular sales and business development opportunities, contributing to the product’s growth strategy

  • Engage clients via phone and e-mail, to maximize the customer experience when their Calibration is due or contract renewals are due.

  • Prepare quotations, cross-sell, up-sell, and minimize discounting

  • Utilize funnel management best practice to manage and win opportunities

  • Review commercial legal terms and escalate as needed

  • Populate and maintain high standards of data integrity in Salesforce, and Oracle

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Sales, Service Development, Dispatch, Tech Support) to improve processes and leverage the best resources to close business and support customers

  • Engage in department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through visual management and countermeasure where appropriate, to support continuous growth and improvement

Your duties will include:

  • Generate leads - research and identify potential customers using a variety of sources.

  • Qualify leads - determine which leads are most likely to become customers by evaluating their needs and budget and assessing interest in the products or services.

  • Make sales presentations - engage with potential customers by phone, email or video conference to demonstrate the features and benefits of products and services and persuade them to purchase.

  • Negotiate deals - work with customers to identify pricing and payment options that meet the requirements and align with company goals.

  • Close sales - close sales agreements with customers, provide customer support as required and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Manage sales pipeline - Managing a sales pipeline involves monitoring sales activities and customer interactions, updating sales records and customer information in a customer relationship management (CRM) system and providing regular reports on sales activities and results.

  • Collaborate with team members - Working closely with sales and marketing professionals for sales development and implement strategies to achieve the targets consistently.

  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge – familiar with the product and their key features, benefits and competitors to educate potential customers.

*The essential requirements of the job include:  *

  • Experience in inside sales support

  • Fluent in English - good command in spoken and written form

  • University degree in sales, marketing or related field

  • Computer skills in MS Office, Salesforce

  • Willingness to travel if required

  • Communicativeness, good time management, analytical thinking

  • Behaves in ways that are aligned with the Veralto Standards of Conduct

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years of sales or tele-sales experience, selling products or services in a business-to-business environment

  • BTech / MBA preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to listen to and seek out solutions to customer needs

  • Proven ability at cross-selling and up-selling; demonstrated experience increasing revenue within existing accounts by broadening and deepening solution placement

  • Ability to handle questions relating to the service products

  • Effective organizational and time management skills

  • Strong working knowledge of SFDC, Oracle, and Microsoft Office preferred

  • Good communication skills: both written and verbal
