Job Title: Senior Analyst – Fixed Asset

The Global Shared Services team in MBS, India plays a crucial role in this mission, working together with our counterparts across the globe by providing various support services in Finance and Business.
This role will be a part of Global Finance Shared Services Team, India which provides range of Finance Support services such as Controllership, Business & Ops, Corp FP&A, Treasury, Credit & Collection etc.
This role is essential in supporting the Controllership Function as part of Fixed Assets Team and will work closely and independently to ensure timely execution and delivery of commitments and meeting agreed KPI’.
The candidate will be expected to meet the expectations of our functional stakeholders effectively. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of accountability, strong work ethics, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
Creation of Capital projects in SAP
Perform Project closure activities and Asset capitalization
Record Fixed asset retirements, sales, transfers, accelerated depreciation.
Assist in preparing monthly reports for IGAAP Fixed Asset register and Physical Verification of Asset
Tracking on Capital Work In Progress.
Assist in preparing monthly Capex reports
Perform Blackline reconciliations every month with accurate supporting document
Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset sub-ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger every quarter
Responsible to ensure compliance with legal/tax regulations and corporate policy with respect to capitalization and purchase of fixed assets.
Responsible for preparing Fixed Asset report for annual Idle Assets review
Assist in preparing the quarterly PPE roll forward reporting.
Coordinate requirements of Tax, Treasury & Manufacturing for information requirements from fixed asset and project system module.
Preparing & delivering accurate Capex reports, Exhibits, PPE Walks, Controllership reporting.
Active involvement in FA related projects
Resolve all queries received in generic mailbox within TAT
Support with additional/ adhoc responsibilities as per organizations requirement as and when required
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
Basic Qualifications:
B.Com / M.Com graduate with 5-7 years of experience in Fixed Asset Accounting
Experience using the following systems: SAP (must have), Business Warehouse, Blackline, Lease Accelerator among similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using the following systems: SAP/Business w arehouse
Excellent communication skills
Experience working with Global teams
Service mentality, Proactive & problem-solving skills
Transformational spirit, creative personality
Demonstrated ability to meet work and project deadlines producing high quality output
Excellent prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables
Strong PC and systems familiarity; excellent MS Office Excel and PPT skills
